Job summary

IBM Consulting in the United States is delivering secure, cloud-native solutions for government and commercial clients. This Application Developer role focuses on Red Hat OpenShift, microservices, and modern front-end/Back-end integration to support hybrid cloud and AI initiatives.

You will implement omnichannel systems, design cloud-native apps, and collaborate across teams while maintaining security and performance. A TS/SCI clearance and onsite work in Springfield, VA are required.

Qualifications

• Provide Tier II/III incident troubleshooting and escalation per SLAs/SLOs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions for operational incidents.
• Monitor, tune and ensure system availability and stability.
• Administer, configure, and automate OpenShift environments for scalable deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support DevSecOps integration.
• Coordinate with mission partners to resolve incidents and ensure interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement omnichannel systems mapped to Red Hat OpenShift services.
• Develop cloud-native applications using Node.js, Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Collaborate to deliver cloud-based solutions leveraging OpenShift and microservices architecture.
• Optimize application performance with service mesh fundamentals.
• Develop front-end applications using Angular.js, JavaScript, and CSS.
