Job summary

August Schell seeks a Software Engineer to join an Agile team working on a large enterprise system. You will transform user stories into deployable solutions, perform robust testing, and contribute across server-side, web apps, and embedded components.

Preferred candidates have extensive Java experience (Spring, JEE) and familiarity with web services, databases, and UI development. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required for this role, with compensation reflecting market norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Java and multiple Java frameworks (Spring, JEE).
• Knowledge of web services, JSON/XML, REST, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile development activities (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, PI planning).
• Analyze complex system requirements to design efficient software solutions.
• Document development using design tools and data flow diagrams.
• Ensure code quality, reusability, and fault tolerance across cycles.
• Promote code reuse and collaboration to reduce maintenance costs.
