Job summary

Ultra I&C, located in Tampa, Florida, is expanding its encryption business and is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to work on high-assurance cryptographic systems for the U.S. Department of Defense. You will participate in the architecture and implementation of security-critical software and firmware for embedded systems.

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge in embedded software development, particularly in C and Rust, and must hold an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. The position involves collaboration with a dynamic, mission-driven team and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience in C and/or Rust.
• Experience with ARM-based processors and SoC platforms.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software primarily in C and Rust.
• Support the NSA High Assurance certification process.
• Develop and maintain formal engineering documentation.
