Job summary

Ultra Cyber, a division of Ultra Intelligence & Communications, is seeking an Embedded Rust Software Engineer 2 in Tampa, FL. You will help convert C code to Rust and contribute to security-critical embedded platforms while collaborating in a team environment.

The role requires a US Government Secret Security Clearance, 2+ years of embedded experience, and experience with ARM-based systems. Travel ~5% and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of embedded software experience with C and Rust.
• Experience with low level/bare metal embedded design and coding in C and Rust.
• Experience with ARM-based systems and SoC development.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of embedded software from C to Rust.
• Define unit, integration, and acceptance test plans.
• Perform configuration management for software items.
• Support Agile and Waterfall development projects.
• Provide progress updates and drive quality initiatives.
