Job summary

IDS International is seeking an Access Control Specialist to manage secure construction site access, verify badges, inspect personnel and materials, and report security incidents. The role operates at an Annapolis Junction, MD site within a government- or public-sector environment. The position requires an active Secret clearance, U.S.

citizenship, and a minimum age of 21. Expect a 48-hour weekly schedule with potential overtime and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required (JPAS/DISS).
• U.S. Citizen.
• 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to secure construction areas and verify badges and authorizations.
• Inspect personnel, materials, and equipment in accordance with CSP and Post Orders.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols and document all activity.
• Identify, document, and report security incidents, discrepancies, or power loss.
• Coordinate with CSTs for delivery inspections and alternative entrance access.
• Perform duties in compliance with the SOW, CSP, and Guard Orders.
• Ensure only authorized personnel, materials, tools, and vehicles are granted access.
• Conduct required inspections and walking patrols to maintain security coverage.
