Job summary

Chenega Security International is seeking professional Access Control Officers to support Missile Defense Agency security operations. The role focuses on protecting personnel, facilities, and assets by managing access, screening visitors, and responding to emergencies.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with CPR/AED/First Aid certifications and the ability to work under pressure in a government environment. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• CPR, AED, and Red Cross First Aid certifications are required.
• Effective communication with employees, visitors and government personnel.
• Ability to follow security procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Control access to facilities and restricted areas per security procedures.
• Verify visitor identities and issue badges and credentials.
• Operate security screening and access control technologies.
• Identify and secure prohibited items at entry points.
• Conduct routine security inspections and access checks.
• Escort authorized personnel to restricted areas as needed.
• Monitor for security incidents and report to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies with on-scene assessments.
• Coordinate with Security Operations Center during events.
• Provide CPR, AED and First Aid as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
