IDS International is seeking an Access Control Specialist with an active Secret clearance to join their Cleared Programs team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role involves managing access to secure construction sites, screening personnel and materials, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

The position offers a work schedule of guaranteed 48 hours per week across 4–5 days, with a rate of $27.00 per hour. Additional benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave for W2 employees.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizen, 21 years or older.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout secure facilities for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to secure construction areas.
• Inspect personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols and document all activity.

Skills

Experience in access control or security

Ability to conduct walking patrols

Ability to control access points
