Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Quality Section Manager for a leading steel manufacturer. You will lead the quality function, manage a team of quality engineers, and drive CAPA, data analysis, and cross-functional improvements to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes continuous improvement, process optimization, and strong collaboration with operations, engineering, and production to elevate product quality and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous leadership or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain quality management systems while ensuring compliance with customer and industry requirements.
  • Manage and develop a team of quality engineers and technical professionals.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to improve quality performance and reduce recurring issues.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and production teams to drive process improvements.
  • Support customer quality initiatives and resolve product-related quality concerns.
  • Analyze quality data, trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead investigations related to product quality, process deviations, and material disposition.
  • Support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO and IATF quality standards.

Job Offer
  • Base salary: $130,000 - $150,000
