Client Details

Our client is a well-established, industry-leading manufacturer in the steel and heavy industrial sector, serving critical markets such as automotive, construction, and packaging. They are currently making significant investments in one of their largest facilities—expanding operations, adding new production capabilities, and continuing to strengthen their quality and engineering teams.

Description
  • Support quality assurance efforts within a large-scale manufacturing environment by ensuring products meet customer specifications and internal standards.
  • Partner closely with operations to provide metallurgical and technical support across production.
  • Analyze process and product data to identify opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Lead and support root cause investigations, rejection analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Perform internal audits and maintain compliance with quality systems and procedures.
  • Develop and present quality reports and participate in quality-related meetings.
  • Conduct daily floor audits to ensure operations are running within defined parameters.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and product quality.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience within steel or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, with exposure to ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive process improvements.
  • Hands‑on experience with root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and build strong relationships with operations and engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a plant environment.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven setting.
Job Offer
  • Salary typically between $70K-$100K depending on experience.
