The position emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and ability to read drawings and cut sheets, with potential overtime and travel to Virginia, Maryland, and DC locations.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of structured cabling experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry 25 lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• Occasional overtime and out of town travel may be required.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Maintain job site productivity and high quality workmanship.
• Install structured cabling systems including all installation aspects.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting.
• Mentor installers to complete tasks and responsibilities.
• May direct a crew of 2-4 installers or junior crew members.
• Read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut sheets.
