Job summary

AGE Solutions is looking for experienced Field Engineers to support telecommunications infrastructure modernization for a federal customer in Washington, DC. Candidates must possess strong structured cabling experience and an active Top Secret clearance.

The role involves hands-on installation and maintenance of Cat6 copper and fiber optic cabling in secure environments. Work hours will be primarily at night and require onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum 2 years experience with telecommunications infrastructure.
• Experience with structured cabling systems in enterprise or federal environments.
• Strong attention to detail, able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot Cat6 copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Support telecommunications infrastructure installations.
• Read and interpret telecom drawings and installation documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with federal requirements.
