Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to support our Government Services team in Washington, DC. This full-time, on-site role requires an active Secret or above clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret.

You will design, build, and secure scalable cloud infrastructure for federal workloads in DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform, Azure Virtual Desktop, CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, and enforcing FedRAMP/NIST controls.

Qualifications

• Active Secret or TS clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
• 5+ years in cloud engineering / DevOps with hands-on Azure.
• Proven depth with Microsoft Azure core services and architecture.
• Strong IaC and scripting skills (PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure (VMs, VNets, AD, PaaS).
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules; automate with PowerShell, Bash, YAML/JSON, GitLab.
• Deploy and manage AVD environments and integrate with Azure AD/M365.
• Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Implement secure cloud practices aligned with FedRAMP, NIST, RMF.
• Monitor health with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; ensure SLAs.
