Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer Lead with TS/SCI eligibility to support the DoD Battle Network in the Reston area. The role involves driving the System Engineering Lifecycle across all phases and interfacing with customers and partners to ensure technically feasible objectives.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, develop technical roadmaps with the program manager, and document risks, interfaces, and constraints.

Qualifications

Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI clearance.
BS degree with 12–15 years or Masters with 10–13 years of experience.
Knowledge of systems engineering concepts for DoD programs.
Strong written and verbal communication with customers and engineers.
Cross-functional planning and system integration experience.
Experience with SysML and Agile tools.

Responsibilities

Provide expertise in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle for all phases.
Responsible for systems engineering artifacts including requirements and architecture.
Interface with customer and partners to ensure feasibility.
Facilitate and lead technical information exchange.
Work with technical program manager to develop technical roadmaps.
Document risk, requirements, interfaces, constraints clearly.
Provide performance feedback and execution guidance to direct reports.
Build a culture of collaboration and transparency.
