Job summary

Critical Solutions is seeking a Mid System Engineer (w/ active Secret) to support a large-scale, dispersed enterprise network. Location: Pearl Harbor, HI, with alternate locations. You will lead complex troubleshooting, manage routing, switching, VPNs, and security, and serve as Tier III escalation in a dynamic program.

The role requires DoD security clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and experience across SAFe/JIRA, with on-site duties and a Wednesday-Sunday schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret eligible.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security).
• Subject Matter Expertise in BAN/LAN/WAN/WLAN and Network Boundary engineering.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise networks and Tier III escalation.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to identify, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex network issues.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, APs, firewalls, and sensors.
• Provide engineering expertise and operational support for one of the world's largest intranet environments.
• Serve as a Tier III escalation resource for complex incidents and vendor coordination.
• Track engineering work in an Agile/SAFe framework using JIRA.
