Job summary
CriticalSolutions, LLC seeks a Mid System Engineer (w/ active Secret) to support a vast enterprise network from Pearl Harbor, HI, with alternate locations. You will lead Tier III incident resolution, engineering, and configuration management across LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, and security deployments.
The role requires DoD-style discipline, DoD 8570 IAT II certs, and the ability to work on-site with a Wednesday-Sunday schedule.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance required.
- DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, or equivalent).
- Experience with large-scale enterprise networks (16,000+ devices across 450+ locations).
- Strong knowledge of network security and defense-in-depth principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, APs, firewalls, and sensors.
- Serve as Tier III escalation resource for incidents and vendor coordination.
- Develop Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) and manage change tickets.
- Participate in Agile/Safe activities and maintain network documentation.
