Job summary

Leidos in Charleston, SC or San Diego, CA seeks a Systems Engineer with Secret clearance to support DCGS-N. You will work on integration, deployment, and automation of ISR processing systems across environments, participating in SAFe Agile practices and cloud infrastructure baselines.

This role requires strong Linux/Windows administration, experience with CI/CD (GitLab), IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience, or 8 years with master's, in computer/software research, design, testing, or development.
• Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 3+ years using DevSecOps methods (CI/CD) and tools like GitLab, Docker.
• Linux-based infrastructure administration experience.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban software development lifecycle.
• VMware and virtualization experience.
• Windows server and domain administration; hybrid cloud experience.
• Container orchestration with Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or AWS services.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher.
• Willingness to travel 25% including shipboard periods.

Responsibilities

• Integration, automation, configuration, and documentation of software and tools for Infrastructure and Platform Services.
• Supports software deployments, cloud baselines, and production system availability.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
• Analyze systems to document functions and define interfaces for integration and testing.
• Manage and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and integrate with workflows.
• Maintain Jira items and service desk tickets; participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies.
