Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA, is seeking a Systems Engineer (Level 2) to develop and deliver SE products. You will work on requirements, interface control, and engineering reports, coordinating with program leaders and stakeholders across IPTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years experience in Systems Engineering.
• Active USG Secret clearance (with a background investigation within past 5 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain SAP/PAR access prior to employment; program access requirements.
• Experience with Python or other scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.
• Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
• Support interface/communication with program, functional and subsystem leads.
• Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts with proper configuration management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to verify and validate artifacts.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills across IPTs and with customers.
• Synthesize data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
