Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Systems Engineer (Level 3/4) for the Northridge, CA site. This 100% on-site role requires a current Secret clearance to start and supports the SiAW program within the Defense Systems, Advanced Weapons Division.

The role involves translating system-level requirements into software requirements, developing architecture models, and verifying software with a strong emphasis on systems engineering and embedded software.

Qualifications

BS in an engineering field with 5+ years systems engineering or MS with 3+ years.
Experience with DOORS or CAMEO tools.
Experience with Embedded Software and ability to read code.
Experience with system/subsystem/software/hardware integration, test, verification.
Current US Government Secret security clearance within past 5 years.
Defense industry and aerospace experience.

Responsibilities

Translate system-level software requirements into software requirements for each CSCI.
Develop software architecture models with System and Software engineers.
Verify and validate software products to ensure CSCIs function as intended.
Perform requirements analysis, allocation, and verification.
Use Cameo Enterprise Architecture to develop use cases and diagrams.
Write Software Test Plans and Test Descriptions and execute tests.
