Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Requirements & Development Engineer (Level 3/4) to support the SiAW missile program with the Advanced Weapons team. This full-time, on-site role is based in Northridge, CA, and requires active DoD Secret clearance.

No remote work is available. The candidate will drive requirements development, verification planning, and system architecture for complex weapon systems, coordinating with IPT leads and subsystems across RF/sensors, guidance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline is required with 5+ years in systems engineering or a MS with 3+ years.
• Experience with requirements development and verification activities.
• Experience with hardware, software, or test engineering.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements and CONOPS into systems requirements and allocate to lower-level specs.
• Perform functional analysis and system trade studies across concept to maintenance.
• Create system/subsystem requirements, interface, and test/verification documents.
• Develop system architecture/design and test architecture for complex weapon systems.
