Job summary

ShorePoint, a fast-growing cybersecurity services firm, seeks a SOC Analyst Tier 2 (Secret Cleared) to support enterprise SOC operations, reviewing escalated tickets from Tier 1 and applying threat intelligence to improve detection and response. The role requires working across unclassified and classified environments with limited supervision.

The candidate will analyze alerts, document findings, and contribute to incident reports while collaborating to enhance detection workflows and SOC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working in a 24/7 SOC environment.
• Active Secret clearance required; ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review and respond to tickets escalated from Tier 1 analysts.
• Analyze and apply cyber threat intelligence to support detection and response.
• Support incident detection and analysis across unclassified and classified environments.
• Investigate alerts and anomalies, escalating to Tier 3 when necessary.
• Document findings and contribute to incident reports.
• Collaborate with peers to improve detection workflows and escalation processes.
• Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.
