Job summary

Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field with 2+ years PM experience, strong MS Office skills, and an active Secret clearance. Onsite in Melbourne, FL with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of project management experience OR a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Active Secret US Government clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects or product lines.
• Align cost plans with business objectives, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor actual expenditures against budgets; identify variances and root causes.
• Prepare regular cost reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Identify potential cost-related risks and mitigation strategies.
• Work with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance to gather data.
• Communicate cost implications of design changes and schedule shifts.
