Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence. This onsite role follows a 9/80 schedule and focuses on building robust program plans and IMS across Mission Systems programs.

You will collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering and Operations to decompose work, manage the IMS, and ensure EVMS compliance while supporting resource estimates and status reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement
• Some planning or scheduling related experience
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Current, active US Government Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop program plans and schedules by interfacing with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations and Business Management to maintain IMS.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze a program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with contractual need dates.
• Decompose program scope into defined tasks and identify internal/external dependencies.
• Analyze forecast dates impacts and critical path impacts.
• Support management with developing an estimate to complete based on resource requirements.
• Manage status updates and internal/external program status reports; identify risks to schedule.
