Job summary

The JAAW Group LLC in Arlington, VA seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to support the War Data Platform core integration for the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). This role will develop, deploy, automate, monitor, and improve ML capabilities within secure DoD environments.

You will collaborate with AI, data, software, cloud, and cybersecurity teams across the ML lifecycle. Onsite work is required; a Secret clearance and US citizenship are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required prior to onboarding.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience developing, deploying, or supporting ML systems.
• Experience with ML frameworks, programming languages, or ML development platforms.
• Understanding of model training, validation, deployment, inference, monitoring, and testing.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure for training, validating, deploying, and operating ML models.
• Design and implement automated ML pipelines.
• Build and maintain model-serving capabilities for efficient inference.
• Develop reusable ML components, libraries, and engineering utilities.
• Implement MLOps practices for CI/CD of models.
• Develop tools for model monitoring, performance tracking, and explainability.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipelines meet ML requirements.
• Develop testing frameworks and maintain technical documentation for ML components and processes.
