Job summary

The JAAW Group LLC is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support the War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration for the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). Onsite in Arlington, VA, you will develop infrastructure for training, validation, deployment, and operations of ML models.

You will design automated ML pipelines, build model-serving capabilities, implement MLOps, and develop monitoring, explainability, and testing frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Experience developing, deploying, or supporting ML systems.
• Experience with ML frameworks, programming languages, or ML platforms.
• Understanding of the ML lifecycle: training, validation, deployment, inference, monitoring, testing.
• Strong programming, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.

The JAAW Group LLC is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support the War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration effort for the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO).

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure for training, validation, deployment, and operations of machine learning models
• Design and implement automated machine learning pipelines
• Build and maintain model-serving capabilities to support efficient inference
• Create and maintain reusable ML components, libraries, and engineering utilities
• Implement MLOps practices to enable continuous integration and deployment of models
• Develop tools and processes for model monitoring, performance tracking, and explainability
• Partner with data engineers to ensure data pipelines meet machine learning requirements
• Develop testing frameworks and maintain technical documentation for ML components and processes

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required prior to onboarding
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience developing, deploying, or supporting machine learning systems
• Experience with machine learning frameworks, programming languages, or ML development platforms
• Understanding of the ML lifecycle: training, validation, deployment, inference, monitoring, and testing
• Strong programming, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government environments
• Experience with MLOps and automated ML pipelines
• Experience with model serving and inference platforms

• Experience with scalable cloud or platform infrastructure supporting ML workloads
