Responsibilities

• Assess mechanical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, hydronic systems, controls, energy management, and related infrastructure.
• Perform facility condition assessments and propose repair, renewal, modernization, and lifecycle plans.
• Support engineering evaluations, design reviews, scopes of work, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Provide technical support for building automation, direct digital controls, and mechanical system optimization.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, facility managers, contractors, and project teams to translate needs into engineering solutions.
• Review work for compliance with codes, standards, federal requirements, and secure-campus protocols.
• Report to a secure federal campus in Washington, DC, for meetings, field investigations, and project execution.
