Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• Broad mechanical engineering experience across HVAC, plumbing, controls, energy management and modernization
• Strong technical judgment and clear communication with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Assess mechanical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, hydronic systems, controls, energy management and related infrastructure.
• Perform facility condition assessments and develop practical recommendations for repair, renewal, modernization and lifecycle planning.
• Support engineering evaluations, design reviews, scopes of work, specifications, cost estimates and project documentation.
• Provide technical support for building automation systems, direct digital controls and energy conservation measures.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, facility managers, contractors and project teams to translate needs into engineering solutions.
• Review work for compliance with codes, federal requirements and secure-campus operating protocols.
• Report regularly to a secure federal campus in Washington, DC, to participate in meetings and verify existing conditions.
