Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary with 4 years of related experience.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts and subassemblies using hand tools.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, parts lists, and standard procedures.
• Install hardware and perform basic fitting, alignment, and adjustment to meet tolerances.
• Use measuring and torque tools to verify assembly accuracy.
• Inspect finished work for quality and report problems.
• Complete production records and assembly documentation accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to PPE and tool-control rules.
• Assist with packaging, labeling and movement of finished assemblies.
