Job summary

Raytheon in TEWKSBURY, MA is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer II to design and develop next-generation circuit card assemblies and FPGA-based solutions, collaborating with systems, mechanical, and software engineers in an agile environment.

You will drive architecture, HDL coding, validation in a lab, and production release across full lifecycles, with DoD security clearance eligibility and US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field; degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience or coursework in Digital Electronics, Circuit Design/Analysis, Digital Design, or HDL coding for configurable logic devices.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment for circuit characterization, debugging, and validation.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations targeting configurable logic devices.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high-reliability code for embedded processing systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on physical layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a laboratory environment using advanced test instrumentation against rigorous system requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation, technical reports, and configuration management artifacts throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support engineering activities from initial customer requirement definition through formal production release.
