Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Warner Robins, GA seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop, modify, and maintain flight software, participate in the full software development life cycle, and collaborate with program management, external suppliers, and government customers. Qualifications include a B.S.

in Computer Science or engineering, proficiency in C/C++/Ada, experience with embedded real-time OS (VxWorks or Embedded Linux), and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Ada and Object-Oriented programming languages.
• Proficiency across the full software development lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated self-starters with ability to work in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain embedded flight software.
• Participate in requirements development, modeling and design, unit testing, integration, and formal system testing.
• Provide leadership in solving complex problems.
• Interact with Program Management, external suppliers, and government customers.
• Position may be filled at Associate Engineer Embedded Software or Engineer Embedded Software level.
