Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineer in Warner Robins, GA. This full-time role involves developing and maintaining embedded operational flight programs, participating in the entire software development life cycle, and collaborating with diverse engineering teams. Candidates must have a relevant B.S degree and significant experience in software development, with skills in C/C++/Ada and the ability to handle complex problems. A Secret security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of direct relevant experience with B.S degree for Principal role.
• Minimum of 8 years for Sr. Principal role.
• Must currently hold or able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain embedded operational flight programs.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle.
• Provide leadership in solving complex problems.

Skills

Proficiency in C/C++/Ada or other Object‐Oriented programming languages

Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem‐solving

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience with real-time embedded operating systems

Experience with Agile software development

Education

Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
