Job summary

Conviso Inc. in the United States seeks a security-cleared DevSecOps engineer to lead Tier 3 ITSM operations, build and test GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation for diverse tools and base images.

The role requires collaboration across application, migration, observability, defense ops, and incident response teams to enhance platform stability and security while improving operations documentation and onboarding guidance.

Qualifications

Secret security clearance.
Security+ certification (can be taken on onboarding).
Direct experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and pipeline automation.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevSecOps principles for development communities.
Familiarity with ELK Stack or other comparable monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute the ITSM queue for incidents, requests, and changes at Tier 3 with a 4–6 person team.
Coordinate cross-functionally with application teams, migration, observability, defense ops, and incident response.
Build automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines to deploy and test new versions for supported tools and base images.
Identify, scope, and implement infrastructure changes and automations via agile sprints to increase platform stability.
Identify gaps in operations documentation and work with engineers to build useful guides.
Implement new enhancements and automations to support DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure.
