Job summary

JANUS Research Group is seeking a Data and Software Infrastructure Architecture Engineer in Fort Belvoir, VA. This role focuses on supporting the Army's modernization of global IT infrastructure through advanced data systems and cloud solutions.

Candidates should possess over 10 years of relevant experience and an active Secret clearance. The salary ranges from $120K to $160K annually, commensurate with education and experience. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant cloud certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Active Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years of related experience in system architectural principles.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Design and administer data infrastructure for large Defense Business Systems.
• Develop software-defined network solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and Zero Trust principles.
• Implement data pipelines and maintain validation mechanisms.
• Automate DevOps processes using IaC solutions.
