Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be based at our Colorado Springs airport facility.

You will perform assessments of systems and networks, author, update, and review security testing documentation, and maintain RMF artifacts relevant to operational processes. The role requires an active Secret clearance, DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GSEC, SSCP) required.
• Experience with cybersecurity principles, risk management, security assessments, vulnerability management, and system hardening.

Responsibilities

• Assess systems and networks for compliance with configurations and policies using STIG tools.
• Author and review security testing docs and RMF artifacts; support RMF assessments.
• Coordinate RMF evidence and artifacts with government personnel and SPO contractors.
• Maintain POA&Ms and support ATO processes; document control testing activities.
• Assist in implementing government policies (NISPOM, NIST, DoD, AFI).
• Provide input for SAR and RAR, and support continuous monitoring.
