JANUS Research Group is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer based in Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on maintaining security posture for IT systems and working within RMF, DoD and Army policies. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with a minimum of five years in related cybersecurity work.

The ISSO will support certification, accreditation, IA design and monitoring, including PKI and identity management, and will prepare Authority to Operate documentation for network systems.

Formación

• Active DoD Secret clearance required or verified.
• A bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of DoD cybersecurity authorization or cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CAP or CeH or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain day-to-day security posture, compliance and controls for IT systems and networks.
• Support certification and accreditation processes and security testing events.
• Design and implement IAM, PKI, and defensive cyber infrastructure aligned with RMF and FISMA.
• Prepare AO/ATO documentation and maintain POA&M under RMF continuous monitoring.
