Job summary

JANUS Research Group in Fort Belvoir, VA seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to protect IT infrastructure and ensure RMF/ATO compliance. The role requires handling certification processes, IA design, PKI and cyber defense operations with DoD policy adherence.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Cyber Security or related field, 5+ years of DoD cybersecurity/authorization experience, and CISSP/CISM/CAP/CeH or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of DoD cybersecurity authorization or related engineering experience.
• CISSP, CISM, CAP, CeH or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• ISSO duties: maintain day-to-day security posture, compliance and operational controls for IP networks, servers, and IT infrastructure.
• Provide RMF A&A support, certification and accreditation activities, and security testing event support.
• Develop and maintain POA&Ms and ensure DoD/Army policies and RMF compliance.
