Job summary

Southeastern Computer Consultants, Inc. (SCCI) in Dahlgren, VA seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD weapon system cybersecurity, RMF A&A, and security controls across a portfolio of tactical projects.

The successful candidate will possess DoD RMF experience, be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance, and collaborate with system administrators and other government personnel to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
• BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of IT management experience.
• Must have IAM Level 2 certification per DoD 8140 (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CASP, or CAP).
• Must understand DoD RMF processes and ATO/IATT procedures.
• Experience developing RMF accreditation packages and with US Military RMF is preferred.
• Experience with eMASS.
• Experience performing the duties of an ISSO is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated A&A support services as defined in RMF for verification, validation, and post accreditation.
• Validate implemented controls and maintain required RMF documentation.
• Develop and review security plans, security assessment plans, and system diagrams.
• Develop and maintain IT plans and contingency/incident procedures.
• Manage the ATO/IATT package process through eMASS.
• Oversee IAVM planning, ensure compliance and track POA&Ms.
• Review STIGs and vulnerability scans (Tenable/Nessus).
• Collaborate in meetings such as the CCB and coordinate with stakeholders.
