Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking an Application Support Analyst to sustain a DoD mission partner's data and applications. This on-site role in San Diego, CA, handles user support, routine data loads, and basic app management, escalating complex issues to engineering teams as needed.

The ideal candidate has an active Secret clearance and 4+ years in application support, with SQL and data-load experience, and strong customer-service and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140-baseline cert such as Security+.
• 4+ years in application support or related tech roles.
• Relational databases knowledge; SQL and data loads validation.
• Experience with enterprise ticketing or service-management systems.
• Basic application administration and troubleshooting understanding.
• Strong customer-service, communication, organization, and documentation.
• Must be able to commute to and work on-site daily in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for the mission application and related systems.
• Receive, document, prioritize, troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve incidents via the ticketing system.
• Perform routine data loads into application databases and validate source files.
• Conduct basic database and application management tasks per procedures.
• Troubleshoot application, data, and user-access issues; escalate complex items.
• Assist with user account provisioning and access requests per policy.
• Maintain and update support documentation and knowledge bases.
• Support application updates, validation, and testing.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to processes.
• Protect sensitive information and ensure cybersecurity and records-management compliance.
