Job summary

LMI is seeking an Application Support Analyst to support a Department of War mission partner on a data and applications sustainment effort. This role serves as first-line support for a mission application and its underlying data, handling user support and service requests, performing routine data loads, and carrying out basic database and application management and troubleshooting.

This is an on-site position requiring daily on-site presence in the San Diego, CA area with an active Secret

Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance.
DoD 8570/8140-compliant baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
Four+ years in application support, IT help desk, data operations, or related role.
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL; experience with data loads.
Experience with enterprise ticketing/service-management systems.
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Ability to work on-site daily in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

Serve as first-line support for the mission application and related systems.
Document, prioritize, troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve incidents via the approved ticketing system.
Perform routine data loads into application databases and validate source files.
Perform basic database and application maintenance under established procedures.
Troubleshoot application, data, and user-access issues, escalating complex problems to engineering teams.
Support user account provisioning, permissions, and access requests.
Maintain support documentation and knowledge-base materials.
Assist with application updates and testing.
Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to support processes.
