Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking its first Security Operations Lead to build and run the SecOps function. You’ll own end-to-end incident response, stand up detection content, and operationalize playbooks as the team grows into a people leader.

You’ll roll out CrowdStrike across endpoints and cloud, implement SOAR with Incident.io, and partner with Security Engineering and Infrastructure to strengthen defenses for a rapidly scaling AI platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security operations, detection and response.
• Hands-on with EDR platforms and incident response leadership.
• Strong scripting and automation for detection, response, and reporting.
• Experience with cloud security operations (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout, tuning, and ongoing operation of CrowdStrike across endpoints and cloud and SIEM use cases.
• Define and operate our detection and response program: build content, establish triage/workflows, measure coverage against MITRE ATT&CK.
• Own incident response end-to-end: run incidents, lead post-incident reviews, and drive improvements.
• Stand up security operations workflow with SOAR automation via Incident.io, plus IT-ticketing triage.
• Build and operationalize threat intelligence to inform detections and hardening.
• Partner with Infrastructure and cross-functional teams to support incidents and initiatives.
