Position Specifics

The Secondary Teacher Pool (Single Subject) is for assignments for the 2026-2027 school year. It accepts applications for Single Subject Teachers on a continuous basis for regular full-time and part-time assignments. The pool is for individuals who hold a Single Subject Teaching Credential and wish to teach a Single Subject content at the secondary level. This is a continuous recruitment used to establish an ongoing eligibility list. Candidates that do not wish to be considered for regular full-time/part-time positions should apply to the substitute teacher pool to be considered for temporary assignments.

Pool Eligibility

Hold a valid teaching credential.
Are enrolled in a college/university to attain a teaching credential.
Are intern eligible through their college or university.
Are eligible for a Short-Term Staffing Permit (STSP).

Examination Process
