San Diego Unified School District is seeking qualified candidates for an Elementary Teacher Pool (Multiple Subject) for the 2026-2027 school year. The district maintains an ongoing eligibility list across TK-6 classrooms at multiple San Diego locations.

Responsibilities

Present subject matter according to guidelines established by the Board of Education and administrative regulations.
Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
Encourage pupils to think independently and to express original ideas.
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
Assess student progress on objectives, expectations, and/or goals and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration.
Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment, including instructional media.
