Qualifications

• Two years teaching experience in a diverse public school preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Rhode Island teacher certification by hire date is required.
• Certification(s) in relevant field.
• Knowledge of Science of Reading and Structured Literacy required or demonstrated via a RI program.
• CPI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support inclusive education through co‑teaching and UDL practices.
• Develop and implement IEPs for scholars with diverse needs.
• Engage families as partners in scholar success.
• Collaborate in department meetings and school‑wide professional development.
• Deliver individual, small group, and project‑based instruction to meet learner needs.
