Responsibilities
- Support inclusive education through co‑teaching and UDL practices.
- Develop and implement IEPs for scholars with diverse needs.
- Engage families as partners in scholar success.
- Collaborate in department meetings and school‑wide professional development.

- Possess skills and experience in co‑teaching, case management, behavior management, and intervention techniques
- Be skilled in the use of Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plans as well as writing Individualized Education Plans
- Provide individual, group, and project‑based learning instruction designed to meet individual needs and help scholars excel
- Participate in departmental meetings, family engagement activities, and whole‑school professional development opportunities
- A minimum of two years teaching experience in a diverse public school setting preferred, but not required
- Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required
- A bachelor’s degree is required
- Successful applicants must hold an appropriate Rhode Island teacher certification by their date of hire
- Certification(s) in relevant field
- Proficiency or awareness in the knowledge and practices of the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy through the completion of a RIDE approved program or Rhode Island educator preparation program
- CPI certification
