Job summary

Southco, a leading global manufacturer of engineered access hardware, is seeking a production associate to produce quality components on secondary machinery in a team setting. You will be responsible for the quality and quantity of products, and you will document productivity and quality issues using the company's business system.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 33 lbs and handle manual tasks safely.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with basic measuring devices and counting units.
• Able to read and interpret work instructions.
• Safety and quality focus in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and quantity of products in a team setting; document productivity and quality issues.
• Flex to areas of constraint; follow instructions from Set Up Operators.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery per schedule.
• Operate and run various machines in secondary areas.
• Use databases to choose proper tooling.

This position is responsible for producing quality components from a variety of secondary machinery.

Compensation: $20-$23

What you will be doing

• The associate is responsible for the quality and quantity of products being manufactured in a team environment. Utilizes business system to document productivity and quality issues
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and flex to areas of constraint. Follow instruction from Set Up Operators on daily tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery according to pre set schedule.
• Ability to work on and run various machines in secondary areas.
• Ability to utilize databases to choose proper tooling.
