Job summary

Southco is seeking a production associate to manufacture quality components from secondary machinery. You will work in a team environment, documenting productivity and quality issues in the system, and flex to areas of constraint under supervision.

You will perform preventative maintenance, operate multiple machines in secondary areas, and use databases to select proper tooling. Strong attention to safety and quality is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 33 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient with measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

This position is responsible for producing quality components from a variety of secondary machinery.

Compensation: $20-$23

What you will be doing

• The associate is responsible for the quality and quantity of products being manufactured in a team environment. Utilizes business system to document productivity and quality issues
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and flex to areas of constraint. Follow instruction from Set Up Operators on daily tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery according to pre set schedule.
• Ability to work on and run various machines in secondary areas.
• Ability to utilize databases to choose proper tooling.
