Job summary

Lighthouse Connections Academy, a Lighthouse Connections Academy school under the Connections Academy network, is seeking a Secondary Math Interventionist to support MTSS/RTI and coordinate intensive interventions for students. Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Minimum of 5 years full-time teaching experience in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Michigan residency preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Technologically proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Travel and attendance at in-person events may be required throughout the school year, including occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Support MTSS using RTI framework to plan instruction and adapt program.
• Deliver intensive research-based interventions for Tier 3 students.
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers and SST team.
• Develop and use MTSS tools and forms for progress monitoring.
• Assess student progress and refine Tier 1–3 supports based on data.
• Coordinate RTI meetings and professional development opportunities.
