Job summary

Conagra Brands in Troy, Ohio seeks a Packaging Operator for the overnight shift. You will operate machines in Secondary Packaging, ensure packaging accuracy, and follow GMP and USDA guidelines.

Duties include code setting, material verification, and daily paperwork while supporting safety and quality initiatives. This role offers an 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule with overtime and weekend availability, plus a competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

• Follow GMPs and USDA guidelines.
• Ability to distinguish good and bad product.
• Ability to complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines used in Secondary Packaging.
• Verify correct packaging materials.
• Set codes and adjust machines as needed.
• Complete required paperwork daily per quality guidelines.
• Support safety, quality, BOS, 5S and area ownership initiatives.
• Participate in training documentation for team members.

Job description

Shift: 11:00 PM-7:30 AM

Hourly Rate: $22.29 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

• Safety is your #1 responsibility
• Know all Job Hazards within the SJ Room
• Operation of all machines used in Secondary Packaging
• Understand different types of product and bar code numbers
• Make adjustments to machine and set correct codes
• Verify the usage of the correct packaging materials for product
• Ability to distinguish good and bad product
• Cool work climate and requires repetitive work with your hands
• Ability to complete paperwork
• Support CPS activities to include but not limited to: Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team participation, CSD, etc.
• Follow all GMP’s and USDA guidelines
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Properly complete required paperwork on a daily basis per Quality guidelines
• Participate in the development, implementation and sustaining (CSD) of training documentation for all team members.
• Responsible for any other tasks/duties as directed by your Supervisor/Line Lead/Cell Lead
• SAP documentation
