Job summary

Conagra Brands in Troy, OH is hiring for a production role to process frozen raw meat products for sausage, pepperoni, and SJ products. You will rotate through the stuffing area, operate stuffers, handle product, rack, tub handling, and trolley washing.

The position requires lifting up to 80 lbs repetitively, working in a cool environment (35–45°F) for 12 hours, and a strong emphasis on safety and quality compliance. Training and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have good math skills for tracking blends.
• Good reading comprehension and ability to follow blend requirements.
• Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Most tasks require bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs onto rack four feet high.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs repetitively.
• Work in a cool environment (35–45°F) for 12 hours a day.
• Follow GMPs, Safety and USDA guidelines.
• Overtime and weekends may be required.
• Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines.
• Assist in training documentation (CSD) for all team members.

• Assist other cells as required and SAP documentation.

Shift: 6:30 AM-4:15 PM

Hourly Rate: $23.15 an hour

Position Summary: This person will be required to process frozen raw meat products for making sausage, pepperoni and SJ products. This will require you rotate through all aspects of the stuffing area. This includes operating stuffers, handling loops of product, racking, tub handling, and trolley washing.

• Responsible for the teardown and setup of machinery.

• Good math skills necessary for the tracking of the different blends.

• Good reading comprehensive and the ability to follow blend requirements.

• Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter and have a team player attitude.

• Most tasks require bending, lifting, and reaching.

• Ability to lift a smoke stick product (up to 35 lbs.) 4 feet high onto the rack.

• Ability to lift 80lb repetitively.

• Ability to work in a cool environment 35 to 45 degrees 12 hours a day

• Support CPS activities to include but not limited to: Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team participation, CSD, etc.

• Follow all GMP’s, Safety, and USDA guidelines.

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Properly complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines.

• Participate in the development, implementation and sustaining (CSD) of training documentation for all team members.

• Responsible for any other tasks/duties as directed by your Supervisor/Line Lead/Cell Lead and assist other cells as required.
