Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution is required.
• At least 3 years of exemplary teaching experience.
• A valid Texas teaching certificate or equivalent.
• Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback.
• Belief in and commitment to the mission and core values of YES Prep Public Schools.
• Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a cohort of teachers.
• Set and uphold clear expectations and standards for excellent teaching in all content areas.
• Observe and evaluate a cohort of teachers and provide coaching.
• Monitor progress toward increased student achievement and campus goals.
• Plan and deliver professional learning opportunities for staff.
• Complete a one-year credentialing track to become a YES Prep Teacher Evaluator.
• Participate in district-led professional development for instructional leaders.
