Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking a Secondary Classroom Teacher to join our instructional team. The position reports to the Building Principal and participates in a standards-based program designed to foster student achievement and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field required.
Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or out-of-state certificate appropriate for position.
Content exam and Science of Teaching Reading exam requirements met, if applicable.
Certification must meet requirements for becoming and remaining qualified for this position by law.

Responsibilities

Adhere to district instruction philosophy and develop/implement lesson plans.
Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for diverse learning styles and adhere to TEA guidelines.
Assess student learning styles and modify curricula with special education supports as needed (IEPs).
Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers; use technology to enhance learning.
